Nitrogen‐Rich Oxetanes Based on the Combination of Azides and Tetrazoles

Abstract Literature known energetic oxetane derivatives have a nitrogen content of up to 49.98 %. Through the introduction azide and tetrazole functionalities attached an ring, oxetanes with higher contents than previously reported in literature were obtained. The newly synthesized extensively characterized via 1 H NMR, 13 C{ H} 14 N 15 H‐ HMBC, FT‐IR spectroscopy and/or DTA. Their crystal structures elucidated using X‐ray diffraction, their sensitivities towards impact, friction electrostatic discharge determined properties calculated EXPLO5 code.
